When we started the review site, we never dreamed we would get the amount of interest that we have.  While this is a wonderful thing, we quickly have fallen behind in the production of reviews.  Since we absolutely do not want to cut the amount of time and attention we give to each chapbook or book, we find ourselves in need of new reviewers to pick up the slack.  Therefore, anyone interested in reviewing for Black & White Gets Read should send an email to kindofahurricanepress(at)yahoo.com with either a list of previous review publications or with a sample review.  To get an idea of the kind of reviews we are looking for, please read our previous review history here: Black & White Gets Read

Storm Cycle 2014:  The Best of Kind of a Hurricane Press (510 pages) is a compilation of the editors' favorite pieces from the six 2014 online journals as well as our six 2014 print anthologies.  A tireless search for poetic talent proved exceptionally fruitful, and the selection process for this anthology was brutal.  After a great deal of reading, re-reading, and discussion, the editors amassed an extremely diverse and eclectic body of work to put forth to represent what Kind of a Hurricane Press is about:  publishing the best poetry and flash fiction being crafted today.
